Do you remember in the last post how I told you guys about our anniversary over the weekend. Well me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years (and 6 days if you ask him). I know a long time right? That is what we keep saying when we talk about how long its been.

I wont gush about how in love I am and how he makes me the happiest girl alive. I wont tell you guys about how he makes me laugh when he knows im having a bad day and how he makes me love my so-called flaws. And I wont even get into how he a wonderful man who i appreciate so much and I cant wait to grow older with him as time goes on. Nope I wont talk about any of that stuff.

It was one of the hottest days! But we got tons of photos despite the heat. And those of you who read my blog regularly know he loves to take my pictures for the blog. He is always trying new angles and making me laugh (as you can see below).

The pin on my shirt is from a national honor society I joined in high school. I pride myself in my academic high shool career lol.

Id like to think we are a pretty stylish couple don't you think?

Hey guys! How did you enjoy your weekend? I had plenty of fun myself, despite the heatwave in Southern California that is slowly prying us from our own souls... Does that sound a tad dramatic? Well its completely accurate when describing this heat.

So over the weekend I celebrated two important days. Friday was our 3 year anniversary and I couldn't been more excited and very nostalgic the whole weekend. Then on Saturday it was his birthday. I have photos from our day out and i will post them soon right now I will leave you with my newest girl obsession.

BAMBI NORTHWOOD-BLTYH:

Although my eyebrows are not as thick as Bambi's, she makes me proud to say I don't pluck my eyebrows (I've only gotten them done a total of three times in my 19 years of life and was happy each time they started growing back), it just isn't for me. Her natural eyebrows are a major part of her beauty and i adore that about her. Which is a relief in a society where women make appointments with their local nail salon at the sight of it growing back.She is very unique And with a kick-ass name like Bambi she gets all the thumbs up this little body will allow.

Hey! I hope everyones week is coming along great. Ive been running on 6 hours of sleep (7 if I'm lucky) from class to work and to another class to the library and back. That means college has offically started once again. Whats funny is that while im doing all this running around these old songs keep creeping into my brain. Usually a song goes away if i pay no attention to it and go on with my day. But it has been 3 days and these songs are still in my head on sort of a rotation, taking turns occupying my time.

Oh did I mention that I am wearing my hair crinkly for a bit. Its been like this for only 2 days and I'm already having ups and downs with it. Last time it was like this it lasted a week. This time I'm trying to keep it like this for at least 2 weeks because its good not putting heat on my hair while its down. And i figure this is as close as its gonna get to me wearing my hair natural. I know that sounds bad but I have yet to tame my curly mane.

Anywho, here is what I wore today.

Today has been a day of me running around from place to place. I had promised myself an early morning and a trip to the gym but that was a failure. I ended up getting out of bed at 11am and going to brunch with my roommate. Later on we ended up watching a DVD with several short french films centered around love. A lot of the little stories were really well directed and did a lot in the little time they had to showcase.

As of right now we are watching Vicky Christina Barcelona. I love this movie. The story is beautiful. Well I'm off to let my nails dry (i bought a bunch of new polish) and fold laundry before I head to bed I've got a busy day tomorrow. I'll post soon, so until then here is something I wore earlier this week.

Hubby says these pictures make my legs look long...in my opinion they are long and he just likes calling me short lol.

Ok so everything this week has been postponed due to my laptop; which has been giving me hell for the last month and a half. Remember I mentioned the Breakfast at Tiffani's night i had planned? Well my laptop decided it did not want to cooperate and keep freezing after 4 minutes into a movie.

Now it is completely unusable and has been sent to live inside a drawer at my desk. So that meant that the two post that i had planned for the week were held off until now. Thank God for my wonderful roomate who let me use her netbook until I got a new computer. Unfortunatly that wont be until next month but hey at least i have the internet!

So here is one look for the week.

You dont understand how much I love this poncho, At one point i was walking to class and my shadow made me feel like Harry Potter. In my book thats pretty freaking cool.

These photos were taking in my university's Japanese Garden. Its goregous with the bamboo swishing in the wind and the coy fish swimming close to the bridge in hopes that you'll feed them.

Some people didnt get that it was a poncho and i was pretty tickled when someone attempted to ask whether it was a blanket or not.

So I had the perfect outfit for today (or yesterday because its midnight here). But i woke up to ugly weather and sprinkles of rain. So I defaulted to a sweater but kept thinking about the "outfit not taken" (you know like the road not taken... yeah...no?). Anywho yeah so there is know outfit for the day but I have alot coming up for you guys promise. Im trying to get back into waking up and putting together looks.

So until then I will leave you with some photos from this weekend. We stumble upon this vintage shop that was so much fun. They had everything from records to old Playboy magazine lol.

How is your weekend going so far? Mine has been pretty fun and hopefully it will continue on until this 3 day weekend is over. Or for my fellow college students 4 day weekends (no classes on friday). Since today is sunday I will try to run some errands and get comfortable in my bed because I borrowed "Breakfast at Tiffany's" from a friend. What do you guys have planned? Let me know.

I love this movie so much. Im a big Audrey Hepburn fan. Ive been watching old movies basically all my life. My mom used to watch them when I was little. In kindergaten my teachers would play old musicals which I loved. Then in the 4th grade we had a long term substitute teacher (because our teacher was on maternity league) who played old movies which sparked my interest in them again.

So as you can guess TCM is one of my favorite channels. Anything Marylin Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, or Doris Day gets a thumbs up from me.

So as you guys know I've started school already. Im in my third day of school and my fifth day back in the dorms. Its going good so far. My roomate and I have got it into our heads that we will do much more this year than we did last year and i hope we get to. And I will be sure to keep the blog update again this year to blog. Summer time allowed me time to post at least every two days so who knows what school time will allow.

Anywho, yesterday Hubby came by to spend sometime with me and we ended up at the movies to see "The Other Guys" which was hilarious but very ridiculous. He was qouting it all night. I was happy to be away from reading for a while. Here is the outfit that I wore yesterday.

Now that im up and down campus so much these sunglasses are coming with my everywhere.
