Hi Ho! Yesterday was filed with running errands. A lot of getting turned around and learning my way around the city I'm currently living in for the moment. There was an attempt to go to a local Goodwill in search of overalls but no suck luck because I couldn't find it. I shall have better luck in the next attempt I'm sure of it. *crosses fingers*

These sandals are something I always doubt because of the length of the heel but they photograph on the foot so well. I think I will bust these babies out through out the summer. The top I actually cut up this morning. I've been doing this think were I take all my once cool t shirts (I went through a graphic graphic tee phase before the whole two size to big  tops became a trend) and revamping them so that they are wearable. So I took scissors to them this morning and love the tank I got out it. I think its very nerd/girly cool. And because I have to mix it up the sandals are there to dress it up a bit.

There is someone who has not made a cameo on the blog in a while! Yesterday Le Boy and I went and got some ice cream to cool in the 80 + degree weather her in LA. I got a simple vanilla ice cream cone while he opted for a Oreo Blizzard. You can't go wrong with DQ!

The funny thing about these jeans are that they are literally boyfriend jeans BUT not in the way you think. I thrifted these jeans almost a year ago because I was really into the style. A few days later him and I are together and he sees the jeans laying around my room and goes "Did I leave my jeans here?" And fresh off my thrifting high I give that a laugh and say no those are mine. It turns out he has the exact pair of jeans. Since then whenever I wear these jeans we get an instant laugh. He's since grown out of his so we haven't had any mix ups. The dork in me wishes he still had them to have a corny moment of wearing the same pants (which we did accidentally in high school when maroon skinnies were popular for both guys and girls).

It was one of those weird days where my the weather was gloomy in a middle of a week full of heat. This was a attempt at simple and free flowing. I didnt know before I left that house that it wouldnt matter and might possibly rain. But alas it didn't last long because I sitting her in front a fan editing trying to avoid a heat stroke.  Its a great place to live... but LA weather can be tricky and you never get use to it.

So yesterday I played the part of failed bond girl... okay not really but i was a on a mission that so failed. The combination of the insane heat, my lack of knowledge of the area and an unpredictable GPS app brought me to my imminent failure. I had planned to run a quick errand and then go to a YouTube get together with the lovely Amy from Vagabond Youth. Because the errand was never completed I went home because the heat had already tired me out and time was basically up.

Any who this hat has come in handy this summer so get use to me styling this baby multiple days. Also this background will be reoccurring for the next 4 weeks. I am crashing at my brothers place and the front yard of the condo is perfect for photos. I'll get around to shooting in several spots so you can see what I mean.
