 So busy that I cant iron my shirt!

 Gonna try and get some rest early tonight. Its almost midnight here so im getting in the shower and going to bed.

 I loved twirling in this skirt! It was so much fun to walk from class to class with it moving. I had to keep picking it up to climb stairs which made me feel really girly. I guess i have to have those days everyonce in a while.

 There were people watching me take the photos and told my roommate (who takes the pictures) that I've basically gotten used to it and not really wierd about it anymore.

I wore no accessories with this I let the skirt speak for itself. I really love this piece because don't wear skirts like this (i have not one bohemian bone in my body). It got so many compliments and the skirt itself made me very cheery all day.

The weather is still pretty gloomy here. Im really hoping for some sunshine. This may be due to the fact that im a spring baby and I can only stand scraves for a few days.

Do you guys have an article of clothing that just makes you smile or feel different?

Im sure you guys have heard about the gay teens/students who committed suicide because of redicule at home and school. Well today is the purple campaign in honor of them. Everyone is encouraged to wear some kind of purple today. The last article I did for my University paper was about gay suicides and what to do when something this comes up. It was an eye opening experience just writing the paper. It made me realize that just because Im a heterosexual it doesn't mean I should not be aware of whats going among my homosexual peers.

I actually had a completely different outfit  planned for today but I decided to take out this shirt and support. Some of my co-workers were not even aware but my campus was full of purple. If you didn't know i hope you grab a purple article of clothing before you head out to show you care!

The weather in Southern California is nowhere near sunny. It has raining and drizziling on and off and i just wish it would rain. I really want to go out and play in the rain although I can't find my rain boots. I do have an umbrella! And to me thats good enough for a good walk to watch the water fall.

This is my "If I Was A Fashion Intern" look. So I decided to use my "Teen Vogue Hand Book" and "Influence" book to take photos today. I sometimes play with the idea of props and never go through with it but this was fun. I felt like I had to be on some where in this outfit. i was fun to feel really serious for a day.

I usually cant stand all black on myself (love it on everyone else), I tend  feel like im going to a funeral. But i enjoyed this look.

Its been pretty cold here in Southern California so I've been adorning scarfs and coats. If any of you are familiar with this part of California then you know that rain is our version snow in the fall/winter. I honestly prefer the sunny days (even the hot days) over days like this. Hubby on the other hand loves gloomy days and rain. He'd rather drive through a puddle then take a walk on a sunny day. All I know is I will jump at the next chance to go to the beach!

Hey guys! How were your weekends? Mine was filled with a lot of studying and a friends birthday celebration on Sunday. Sunday was literally the only day I was saw the outside world. I spent all the time in our dorm lounge working on a news article. I experienced my first real interview for an assignment for the university daily newspaper.For those of you who do not know I am a journalism major. So going through the process of conducting an interview and putting it together so that it sounds like a story is the most frustrating yet exciting thing.

Then today I opened up our university weekly paper and saw my name on the 4th page. I had written a opinion piece and submitted it two weeks ago. Seeing my name in print was the best feeling. I was happy all day, texting family and telling classmates to pick up the article. Its amazing to think there are hundreds of these paper with my name on it. So hopefully this is the beginning of many more published articles to come!
