I has been blazing here in Southern California so what better way to keep cool then to wear your clothing half way on your person. It probably doesn't help that I was in all black. 

FYI: As much as I have been loving the cropped looks lately it not al so glam and bad assery. Trust me I takes about 100 plus photos to just to get 7-10 good ones. I wish I could share the first few awkward photos of me as I'm getting comfortable with the camera. Let's just say i've got a lot more toning and some posing lesson before i'm on a Naomi level. (If by some weird order events Ms. Campbell finds her way to my blog... please don't read me for the foreshadowing comparison)

In honor of the ten year anniversary of Mean Girls every fan donned pink on the Wednesday it fell on. LetI me just say that I'm not one to flaunt around in the girliest shade to grace the color wheel. I'm more of the black, black and more black kind of girl but I've had these pants for a while and this day was their debut. 

*cue awkward/ slighty off moments that are my life* 

Truth is I didn't plan on wearing pink for this purpose. I just happened to finally find the right shirt to pair with them. The universe works in mysterious ways because my whole internship office was filled rose, barbie and orchid pinks. But despite my brush with luck I would like credit for being aware of the monumental pop cultural date. Before this coincidence I had read my fair share of "10 Facts You Didn't Know" and "Where Are They Now" article in honor of the movie. I'm hip, I know what's fetch!

And with that corny line I bid you adieu... (and that was even cornier!)

So I've been loving quite a few things recently, including my new favorite scent (Coach Poppy) and a pair of spiked earrings. I've been  especially obsessed with my Anchor Charm Bracelet from Swell Caroline. 

This piece has me reconsidering my relationship with arm jewelry. There are several watches and bracelets tucked away around my apartment that go unused and now my attention has turned to my wrist. My favorite thing about the bracelet is the look and feel of it. The design is sweet, charming and has the weight of a quality piece without holding down you're wrist. All in all I'm totally here for more arm candy. Let's call this... the revival of the charm bracelet.
