I have been searching everywhere for a fur vest this past season and found no such luck for a long time. But in January I found something I couldn't leave the store without. Originally I wanted something in black, white, or a brown color but I think this is the perfect pick.

 At first I had doubts because I didn't liked the way it looked when I tried matching it with pieces. As you can tell the color is very specific. After putting it on again today I had to admit it allows for a pop of color and stops me from wearing it with every single day.

This past Thursday I attended the WhoWhatWear event at the Gap at the Grove here in Los Angeles. The event was all about brights colors for spring so everyone came dressed  in their brightest hues. It was wonderful seeing all of those attending. I met a few bloggers I love and met some new ones.



There was a nail bar, photo booth, and food and drinks.



I loved so many of the outfits and two pair of shoes caught my eye.
 This pair from Zara I have been admiring so seeing them in person was perfect...


Meeting Dulce Candy was a great beginning to my night. she was so tiny... and just as beautiful in person!

I ran into blogger Ariana of La Catrina de LA Moda

I also spotted Who What Wear Creative Director Katherine Powers


Then I got to have a chat with the sites Editorial Director Hilary Kerr. She was such a sweetheart!

DJ Jilly Hendrix did a great job with the music for the night! And she stood the whole time in heels!

All in all it was a great night... and I'm so glad I decided to attend.

I'm so late with this post but this week I am sharing you with you my building sunglasses collection. Okay that may be an overstatement because I pretty sure I done buying pairs for now. I just loved these pairs and had to have these.

I love these velvet leggings!They took me a long time to get around to tailoring but they fit perfect after a bit of T.L.C.

 And the necklace is one of my recent Thrifts from this weekend. I actually did a bit more today so you will get to see that soon.

Happy Valentine's Day you guys! Whether you are a part of a couple, a group of loving friends, or blissfully solo I hope this day was wonderful for you.

Since today was a school day for both of us we settled for some time on the phone. Which was fine because we celebrated this past weekend with a stay at the Marriott. It was lovely and we didn't want to leave. Seriously the view was gorgeous and the bed was big and fluffy. We went to dinner and had room service the following morning. It was a nice night away and vowed to do things like this again.

There was great weather yesterday so I headed out in shorts and a tank top. I ended adding the shirt for a it of warmth since I didn't see the point of a sweater.
